The pStyle is a plastic device that allows women, nonbinary folks, and trans men to pee standing up without undressing. It is a simple design that works exceptionally well. Because it is made of rigid plastic, the pStyle is easily maneuvered through clothing and properly positioned. The rounded back edge is used to wipe with so there are no drips! The pStyle can be cleaned with soap and water, wet wipes, or shaken vigorously and washed at the next convenient time.

More detailed cleaning info here.

Please note that the pStyle works well for many adults and children. Due to the diversity of human bodies, it cannot work for ALL people. If you have concerns about the size of the pStyle and whether it would work for you, please contact us

Metric size: 19.05 cm (L) x 4.19 cm (W) x 4.4 cm (H)

Weight: 0.8 oz (22 g.)

Materials: BPA and phthalate free polypropylene.

Maneuver the pStyle through your clothing and place it so the widest part is centered under your urethra. Check to be sure clothing is not inside the cup of the pStyle. Tilt the open end down, relax, and pee. After you finish peeing, wait a moment, then pull the pStyle slowly forward with a firm upward pressure to remove the remaining drops.

Shake vigorously or rinse with water and store in a secure place. If water is not available, wash your pStyle at the next convenient time or carry sanitary wipes. The pStyle is dishwasher safe.

Most users have success the first time they try the pStyle. For some it takes a little practice. You can perfect your technique in the shower.

Can people with physical issues or wheelchairs use the pStyle?

Many people with injuries or physical issues have great success with the pStyle. If you are on crutches, can’t sit on a public toilet after a hip replacement, or just have a hard time getting up and down due to painful knees it will be very useful.

We have heard positive reports from people who can’t use public restrooms due to chemical sensitivity or phobias and people with a frequent need to urinate due to pregnancy or illness.

People who use wheelchairs have varied success. You need to be able to get to the front of the chair and get the pStyle under your body in order for it to work.

If you have questions please contact us.

How do I avoid getting splatter on my shoes / splashback in a toilet.

Take a wide stance. Avoid peeing onto a hard surface such as asphalt or compacted dirt. Aim for a vertical surface. Aim onto a surface that is lower than your shoes.

In a toilet, alter the angle of your pee stream so that it hits the wall of the toilet/urinal at a gradual angle; the closer to 90 degrees, the worse the splashback will be. You can also lay down a piece of toilet paper and aim for that.

Check out this video on the fluid dynamics of splashback for more info.

Can I use the pStyle in a car?

Never drive and pStyle at the same time. Determined passengers may be able to pull it off. Best practice is to find a safe place to pull over and use the pStyle while the vehicle is not in motion.

I’m having trouble using the pStyle. What should I do?

First re-read the instructions. You may not be placing the pStyle far back enough. The ideal spot for the back end is just forward of the perineum. Make sure you are tilting it downward and not tipping it to the side. Check to see that clothing is not inside the cup.

If you are still having trouble you are welcome to contact us. with questions. We will try our best to help you figure out how to have success.

Who uses the pStyle?

While women are the primary users they are not the only ones who benefit. Everyone wins when someone close to them has an easier time peeing. Non Binary folks and trans men might use the pStyle. Cis gendered men might use a pStyle if they have a medical condition that interferes with their ability to stand up and pee.

Can children use the pStyle?

We have had reports of successful pStyle use from parents of children as young as three. Practice in the shower is recommended.

    Amazing for forgein travel

My thoughtful husband gave me my first pStyle for Christmas, after my niece praised the product as "life changing". I have just returned from Guatemala......and yes, the pStyle was indeed a life changing blessing. From JM's coaching I was able to use it in an emergency the first time I tried it. I highly recommend this product for untidy airplane and bar toilets, 3rd world country toilet situations, when out and about in the countryside, or when finding yourself in dirty gas station facilities. Wow I am impressed! Thank you for a great product.

    The pStyle is life-changing!

Posted by Rachel in Seattle on 4th Jan 2013

It was my daughter, mountain-climber and jungle explorer, that first told me about the pStyle. She said the pStyle changed her life, and would do the same for me. I ordered mine to take on a birding trip to Peru, and it did! Our Ecuadorian guide couldn't quite get his mind around the idea of women peeing standing up, and the idea was the subject of much hilarity among the men, but the women weren't laughing. Unfortunately, I lost my pStyle partway through the trip, so this time I ordered two, so I will never be without one again. I have made it my mission to do pStyle outreach, and I have told all of my birding and traveling friends, women and partners of women, as well my doctor at the travel clinic, about the wonderful pStyle, so I hope you have had some extra orders from Seattle. My pStyles are going with me to India soon.

I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in Central Africa and I just happen to come across this product. It is perfect! Great for when I am traveling on the bus and we have those roadside bathroom breaks out in the middle of nowhere... So excited and plan on sharing this with all of my friends!

    Surprisingly easy & very liberating!

I recently purchased the P style & was really surprised at how easy they are to use. It worked first time and every time since, no mess, no fuss. I also got one for my primary school child & she loves it. Very easy & clean. No more hovering over public toilets, or having to hold on while looking for a vaguely clean bathroom on a long drive. Will definitely recommend it to friends & family.

Best STP out there. I have only had mine for two days and I can already use it in the dark! I love this device. I can't see how any of the other STPs out there could compare to the brilliance of the pStyle. Thanks to who designed this. Amazing!

    Horseback rider loves it!

Posted by Unknown on 4th Sep 2012

I have had two knee replacements, when riding in the forrest or woods finding a tree and squating just isn't an option anymore. I can hide behind something but no having to squat is the best!! I bought two for gifts I know my buddies will love it too!

    Another gift.

Posted by Unknown on 14th Aug 2012

This is the fourth one I have given as a gift. The conversation starts awkwardly, "What? You don't have to drop your pants to pee?" Then it evolves with curiosity and intrigue. This one is for a trail runner, she velcroed the pCase to her water bottle. The last was for a horse rider, the one before that to a police officer who doesn't need to drop her heavy belt, another one went to a dirt bike riding camper.

    Every woman should have one

I bought a pink one and a case for it several years ago, and I am so happy I did! At first I used it for camping but it goes with me on every backcountry trip now. I highly recommed this product if you have bad knees or can't squat - it will really make a difference for you.

Thank you for saving me from the Porta Potties!

Posted by Julimonster on 13th Aug 2012

First off, I'd like to thank you for making a product that saves me from having to ever again kick a porta potty before having to use it (yuck) for the most part! I am still getting the hang of using it, much to my partner's amusment, but this seriously changes the way I will view long trips - I've found that the older I get the harder it is to find long stretches between rest stops bearable. I was expecting the rubber to be a little softer (like the rubber they're starting to make baking molds out of). I actually had never heard of this product before reading an article on The Gloss - I was 1/2 way through it and I had already made up my mind that I need one of these (at least!) Now, having purchased it, I want to make sure ALL of my female aquaintances know about it as well!
